In the July 2011 issue of Food Logistics, Dr. Dario Solis, managing director of the Georgia
Tech Panama Logistics Innovation & Research Center, authored the fifth
installment for the Cool Insights
column, titled “A
New Cold Chain for Panama.” In the
column, Solis writes on the Georgia Tech Panama Logistics Innovation &
Research Center’s support of the Panamanian government’s recent work to
transform into a trade hub for the Americas, through the development of a new
cold chain infrastructure.
To celebrate the opening of the
Georgia Tech Supply Chain & Logistic Institute’s (SCL) Integrated Food
Chain Center (IFC), Food
Logistics Magazine initiated a new column titled, Cool Insights. The column, which began with the April / May 2010 issue, has
exclusively featured thoughts from the faculty, staff, and partners of the IFC on
various aspects of food chain.
